On Tuesday, February 16th, 2021, the Director of the Career Development Centre Ms. Berivan Mohammed Ahmed, with the CDC coordinator of the Faculty of Humanities Mr. Nechirvan Hassan Jawzal, and under the supervision of the Vice President for Students Affairs Dr Karwan Fahmi Sami, a 3-day workshop was held for the volunteers of SWEDO organization at the presidency of the University of Zakho.

This workshop aims to strengthen the ties between the university and the civil organizations and to broaden the knowledge of the volunteers about their tasks, duties, rights, and the concept of volunteerism. Furthermore, the lectures of the aforementioned workshop are given by the Lecturers of the University of Zakho and the Nawroz University.

It is worth mentioning that, at the end of the workshop the participants will be granted a certificate from the University of Zakho.
